💡TIP: Here’s an EASY way to support the homeless in your area! A few years ago, I was walking around DC and came across someone selling a newspaper. The person was shouting, “Free paper! Support the homeless!” I asked the gentlemen if I could have the paper. I read it that night and loved the authentic and raw journalism that tells it as it is. The DC newspaper is called Street Sense Media (@streetsensedc ). The next time I was in the city, I grabbed another one. The suggested donation is about $2. If you don’t have change on you, you can also download their app! That’s what I’ve been doing recently. The people who sell them are typically in blue vests and stand at metro stops and street corners. It might look different in your area; however, DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT! You can also get a subscription to this monthly newspaper online if you prefer to avoid the outdoors because of covid. Read my blog post about in my #linkinbio !! Hi friends! 🥰😋 Hope y’all are doing well! I read this verse early in September. I really enjoy spending time with God and reading the Word before I start my day! ☀️Although I shall admit that its hard to do that before 8:30 AM classes 😬 Anyways! :) Everything you believe is tested when you walk through difficulties. A lot of the guests on the second season of TBV have encountered lots of their own struggles with their projects and work: funding, lack of volunteers and engagement, abandonment, lack of motivation, feeling like there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
