Shoutouts to Start the New Year

Hey everyone!

Happy New Years! As it stands nowadays, I’ll bet that our 2020 calendars already have several things planned. Before we jump into joyous hope for the new year, I wanted to give thanks to some people who have supported my efforts on this blog and in my daily motivation.

*Note: For the sake of privacy, I have omitted mentioning names.

Thank you to all my readers and subscribers! Hearing from your different views and perspectives has been amazing. I love the happy and supportive comments you all leave below! I write this content with the intention of bringing some small bits of inspiration and happiness into your everyday life, and I hope you all have loved it!

Thank you to my family members, some of which are so close that although we biologically do not share the same blood, I would consider them family. From hyping me up, to the cute texts letting me know you liked my latest posts, thank you so much! They mean a whole bunch to me, and I want you to know that they make my day.

Thank you to my friends! Some of you I have known from school and others I have met recently or just out in the world. You all are so awesome, from your cute Instagram comments to the llama-themed gifts you all have given me. How blessed I am to have you all in my life!

Lastly, I would like to give a shoutout to Jesus! He’s awesome and has completely inspired all the good things that I have done. All glory to Him.

To start off the new year…

… I decided to write out some of the best quotes to motivate you for this year! If you wish to see even more quotes, click here for a blog post dedicated solely to some of my favorite proverbs, precepts, and quotes.

~Maya Angelou

“Cautious, careful people, always casting about to preserve their reputation… never can bring about a reform.”

~Susan B. Anthony

“Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty.”

~Mother Teresa

“The greatest danger to our future is apathy.”

~Jane Goodall

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

Thank you all so much again! Have a lovely new year, and always remember that whatever lies ahead of you, I have confidence you will make it through.

Quote of the post:

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.”

~Eleanor Roosevelt

P.S. The painting featured above is one that hangs in my room. My mom gave it to me. It’s the perfect picture! How much better can it get than a horse and a llama?? Thanks mom!
