Hey there, friends!
Perhaps you are looking to travel to a new destination during this time of season. Here on the East coast, it’s really chilly (except for today which is seventy degrees?), and as much as I appreciate the cold weather, I prefer to sunbathe in the heat.
About seven months ago, I went to Cancún, Mexico. It was definitely a blast! I had been to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico before, but never been to Cancún. Both were a great experience!
Here’s why you got to go to Cancún, Mexico:
1. There’s plenty of beaches.

If you enjoy hanging out by the ocean, you’ll definitely love Cancún, as it has so many beaches!
While I was there, I spent a lot of time on the seashore. I had to read some books for school, but the experience of reading it on the beach made it a lot more enjoyable than reading it at home.

I stayed at a resort called Iberostar, where they had a lot of activities, like scuba diving, canoeing, and snorkeling.

2. Explore history.
One of the seven world wonders is actually about 3 hours from Cancún: Chichen Itza. You can take tours around Chichen Itza and explore the culture surrounding the town.

There are also caves where you can snorkel and check out. Most of them are really old — like over 2000 years old!

3. See New Wildlife.
At Iberostar in Cancun, there was a lot of wildlife all over the resort. Outside of my hotel room, there were flamingos, monkeys, peacocks, and iguanas.

There were also some toucans, turtles, and many more animals. Also to mention: the sea has a world of its own!
4. Mexican Food!
… And, in addition, the resort I stayed at featured a buffet for every. single. meal!

By the way, the resort I stayed at had really good cappuccinos.
So visit!

For all the people who have been there already: I hope this brings back good memories!
