Believe it or not, there is some truth to when people tell you that people who spend time outdoors are happier people. Nature has a positive effect on our brains. For example, the sun gives us Vitamin D from the direct sunlight.
If you find yourself without time to incorporate some time outside in your daily routine, try bring nature to your space.
Plan to Have a Plant
Plants have magic: they are stress-relievers! Whether you work at a desk or at an office, a plant makes the perfect touch to enhance the look of your space, but also will help alleviate stress.
Plants are living creatures. They are different from humans, however, where they do not speak, talk, or require much more than scare attention: water and possibly some sunlight.
Having a small plant in a room will provide cleaner air. Plants absorb toxins into their tissues and release them as harmless by-products.
Plants are known to increase your happiness. It has been discovered that touching soft and smooth plants will make you feel calmer.

Where Do I Find a Plant?
Chances are, you might already have a plant lingering around in your home or apartment. Take that little plant and bring it to wherever you often work in the day.
If not, you can buy a plant at a local farmer’s market, Home Depot, and even the grocery store sometimes sells plants.
If you already have a plant at your office, give it some attention! Make sure to water it appropriately, give it some sunlight (if needed), and smile everyday because you have a plant that works wonders for you, which often go unappreciated.
